Finding the right blush for me is almost impossible. I almost always never even used blush, until I realized that I look incredibly pale without it. Or without some sort of bronzer (let's leave the bronzer for another time, shall we?)
Searching throughout various drugstores and make-up stores, watching loads of make-up artist videos on YouTube, until I discovered Sephora and some certain brands.
Falling absolutely in love with the Bourjois collection. When my mother was my age, that was her favourite brand. Until now, she uses the blush she has from back in the 80's. Which is a long time for make-up. I never really pay attention to the expiry date, but if it still smells pleasant, and doesn't give you some sort of allergic reaction, I still use it.
When I went to Boots whilst I visited London, I've found the Bourjois blushes. There were colour that I couldn't resist from getting was the 'Lilas d'Or' in French or 'Golden Lilac' in English (it's the same name)
As I live in Canada, it's not as easy to find Bourjois, however, some Shoppers Drug Mart stores, with the Beauty Boutique have them.
When I went to the States, I found a shop called Ulta, which sells various make-up and beauty products. A friend of mine made a beauty blog post about a brand called NYX and their blushers. This store happened to have them. The two colours that I loved were the 'Apricot' and the 'Dusty Rose'. One is a little bit darker than the other. It has a dark rose look that can contour the cheeks very nicely. The other colour has a slight orange tint to it, so I tend to wear it when I have coral or brighter clothing on. I also loved how the blush itself was in a pointed look, rather than a plain flat look. Just gave it a little more something.

The time that I spent looking for these blushes, as time in between, was a few months. I then watched Zoella's YouTube favourite videos and read her blog posts, and decided to check out what Sephora had to offer me. I made the worst decision of going into that store, it's like an addiction, once you start, it's hard to stop shopping there.
For a little bit of pricer choice of blush, I went for the NARS. I bought a duo palette of their blush and bronzer. I'll only be talking about the blush of course. The colour is Orgasm, (which is such an odd name for a blush colour and literally getting red at the thought of the name); however the colour is absolutely beautiful, and gives off a very light pink tone colour on the cheeks. The more you layer, the darker it becomes, so you can make it however light or dark you need it. It also has a lovely soft shimmer within it.
