Conceal It, Don't Feel It | NARS VS Urban Decay

Hello lovelies!

Concealers are an essential part of make-up application daily, especially to those having a bad skin day, or have blotchy skin, redness, or even a spot...or two. Concealers help cover up those imperfections on small or large areas, depending where you use it.

Personally, I use concealer mainly under my eyes to cover up my panda-eye dark circles. I can't use any eye creams, since it's a hereditary thing, concealers are my go-to item. Of course you have several brands to choose from, well, more than several even. Price ranges also can differ from what brand you mainly wanted to go for. There's high-end, mid-range, and drug store brands.

Two high-end concealers that a lot of people have been going on about lately are NARS and Urban Decay. Let's see what each of them have to offer, shall we.

NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Vanilla
Scentless and pretty amazing coverage. It's a thicker consistency concealer, which still blends wonderfully with using your finger or a brush; either works just fine. It can be hard to find a concealer that is thick, yet, still manages to blend well. Creasing can occur with this concealer because of the consistency, so I would immediately set it with the powder of your choice. Brightens up under eyes and hides the raccoon darkness. Also, very well for covering any blemishes or pesky redness that is on the skin. The packaging I find is sleek, which for those who like the outer look, it's quite nice. The colour selection is quite nice, having two shades for yellow-toned and pink-toned skin colours. The price for this is $29 US.

Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer in Fair-Neutral
This concealer is super weightless as it does say in the name of it. It's super lightweight and carries decent coverage for the thin consistency. It doesn't cover up the really dark areas that are needed, but if you have some darkness and like a light weight formula, this is your choice. It also doesn't crease easily, but if you have oily skin, those powders are always the next step. The scent for this is a little strong, but fades off almost immediately after application. The pigmentation in the formula is thought out very well, since a little dab goes a long way; therefore, you don't need a lot at all. The colour selection isn't the best as it was too light for me, and the next one down, was too dark. The price for this is $28 US.

Between the two concealers, I personally preferred the NARS concealer. The reason being is mainly over the coverage and the colour selection. With the price, the one dollar wasn't going to make much of a difference.

Let me know in the comments which is your favourite out of the two and if you have another concealer you prefer!

Much love, stay classy, and be delightful!
