Subtle Accessorization

A lot of people that don't know me personally, well, I'm a hijabi. Therefore, I'm a Muslim who wears the scarf to simplify it for you. I know that several people are always saying, well, how can they even look pretty? All they do is just wear a scarf, they're ugly.

Hold the phone.

We can accessorize and look pretty if we tried. You probably just saw us on a bad hijab day. Yes, just like you folks that have your hair smoothly sailing with the wind, we do have bad hijab days. Or just days were we didn't really feel like looking on-point for the most part.

Mainly this post is just about subtle accessories for hijabis. Of course, this can work for people who aren't wearing the hijab.

I went into Icing the other day, looked around and such, because I had a gift card. What was I supposed to buy? I didn't really want any jewelry, so I bought a hat, and three bow clips/pins (they can be worn either way).

Hats can be worn on top of a scarf, or still with a scarf. Bows can be used instead of a standard pin to hold in place. There are many ways to wear a hijab, yet still be modest like how it is to be worn. I YouTube a lot of ways that it can be worn, sometimes I just play around with it, and make up my own style to match what I'm wearing. I'll probably make a post one day that will have a few styles of the various ways I wear my hijab, but there's only one photo today of what I wore the other day. It was just mere, subtle accessorization.
