A Day in Chicago | Turkish Delight

Hello lovelies!

I hope that you're all super well and delightful! So, I've been a little busy the past several days, since I went to Chicago. Well, it was only for a day, but it was okay! That rhymed, haha.

My folks and I decided to randomly add in Chicago on our way to the eastern-central part of the States. Very much not on our way, but was worth it, even if only for such a short period of time.

A lot of people might say, "Hey, did you go for Lollapalooza?" Actually, no. Just for fun, I honestly didn't even know what it was until I got there and saw all of the tents being set and finalized in the downtown area. I went to downtown only once and I wish I stayed there, but there was way too much of a crowd, so I wasn't able to see the major site attractions there. I've been to Chicago once before, but a few years back...maybe two? I do believe so. It was only for a school thing, but I did manage to see the Bean at Millennium Park; as well as a some Frank Lloyd Wright architecture. Oh the beauty of his work. If you don't know who he is, Google him; he's an architecture genius. I wish I saw the Navy Pier, The Art Institute of Chicago, and walked more down Michigan Avenue and the Magnificent Mile, but I guess those are some reasons to always come back to visit it again.

A door I found in downtown Chicago with some Frank Lloyd Wright inspiration. Isn't it fascinating?

This time however, I wasn't able to get in those same attractions again because of the pressured time I had. I just saw what was on the way to wherever I was going. I shopped a little, so that was usually where I was going.

It also happened that at the time we were there, my father's uncle and mum's cousin were in town, so we popped to their place to see them. It was a lovely Turk-ish gathering. A little joke to those who know me.

So yes, that's pretty much it. If you want to see a little video of what I saw, then click here to watch it and visit my fairly new YouTube channel. I find it quiet fascinating, sort of. Enjoy!

Much love, stay classy, and be delightful!

The only different thing about this little trip was that we stayed in a B&B (Bed and Breakfast) place, which you'll find in the video. It was such a cute place! So neat and tidy with homemade meals. Oh and simply the most comfortable bedding! Tweet me if you want to find out the place I stayed at.
